We've been fortunate enough to meet
and, in some cases, co-operate with
some great people and organisations.
We've included some links on this page
which we think you'd enjoy.

Geneology Tours of Scotland

Scottish born, Canadian raised,
Christine Woodcock had the best of
both worlds, growing up immersed in
Scottish culture. Realising that others
of the Scots diaspora were not as
fortunate, she started her business,
Genealogy Tours of Scotland
(https://www.genealogytoursofscotla
nd.ca/) to allow others researching
their Scottish roots the opportunity
to return to the land of their
ancestors, conduct family history
research and deepen their sense of
belonging to their ancestral kin.

The Grassmarket Community
Project

yproject.co.uk
This organisation does a sterling
job for people traditionally labelled
as 'homeless', people who live right
in the heart of Edinburgh's Old
Town have been given support
through a series of activities. We're
currently hoping that we can offer
just a tiny bit to this organisation
through our forthcoming charity
tours of Edinburgh.
Edinburgh Museums
http://www.edinburghmuseums.or
g.uk
Edinburgh City Council control a
number of fascinating museums,
many of which have free entry and
which lie close to our Old Town
tour route. Our favourites are the
Writer's Museum, the People's
Story and the Museum of
Edinburgh. In our humble opinion
these places should be on the
'must visit' list of anyone interested
in Edinburgh's history!
Greyfriars Kirk
http://www.greyfriarskirk.com/
Greyfriars Kirk has a thriving Church
of Scotland congregation which sits
in the church within the historic
Greyfriars Kirkyard. The Kirk is a
strong presence in the community
and we think you'll be amazed at
just how much is going on!
Greyfriars Bobby's Bar

sbobbybarofficial
Our favourite Edinburgh pub!
Greyfriars Bobby's Bar has that
quaint 'Old Edinburgh' feel and sits
just next to where we start our
tours in Greyfriars Kirkyard.
Friendly bar staff and an excellent
selection of drinks makes this
somewhere we highly recommend.
